"Paint your way to a longer life" is the intriguing subject on which Mandy Walters, a local artist, will speak. Mandy specialises in animal portraits and will bring along slides & examples of her work.

The Art of 3D Printing

A Coffee Morning will be held at The Bowling Club, Suffolk Square, Cheltenham from 10.30 - 12.00 on 5th December. Do come along & learn about 3D at home - intriguing!! Robert Rimmell will give a short talk on the subject.

Guests as well as members are welcome.  The cost is £6 for unlimited coffee & chat.

The next coffee morning on Thursday 19th October will feature a Members' Showcase. Bring along your embroidery, paintings and other crafts to The Bpwling Club in Suffolk Square at 10.30am.

Cafe Arts

Cafe Arts is a new project at TASC. Its aim is to broaden the benefits of membership by providing a short, informal presentation on an arts related topic together with an opportunity to meet and socialise with other members over coffee and refreshments at a regular day-time event.

Cafe Arts will be held at the Bowling Club in Suffolk Square on a Tuesday or Thursday morning roughly once a month. 

Cost to members will be £6 with guests welcome.

DIRECTIONS TO GUITING POWER AND PARKING FACILITIES

The easiest way to travel to Guiting Power from Cheltenham is to take the A40 out of town, through Charlton Kings.  Just outside Andoversford there is a short stretch of dual carriageway and when you reach the end of it you take a left turn off the A40 at the traffic lights, and continue along the A436 towards Stow, for about 6 or 7 miles.   You will then see a sign-post for the Guitings so turn left onto the A4068 there and continue to follow the signs that bring you into the village.  

Once you enter the village you come past the Farmers Arms on your right, and Tally Ho Lane is the first sharp left turn after the pub.  There is a farm shop on the corner called The Cotswold Guy, which is very visible.  Come up the road which bears round to the right at the little village school.  We are then the last but one house in the terrace you will see on your left hand side as you drive up the road.  There is unrestricted parking outside the terrace of cottages and further up the lane, if you can find a space.

Alternatively, when you turn into Tally Ho Lane by the shop you can carry straight ahead towards the church and village hall, where there is a small car park, and it’s signposted to the Parking at the hall.  You can then approach my house across the village playing field behind the hall, and come in through the back garden gate.   You will see our terrace on your right at the top of the playing field and our gate will have some signs and balloons to let you know you have arrived.
