The Arts Society is one of the leading organisations working in non-specialist but vital ways to support the conservation of our cultural heritage.

We have helped the National Trust at Chedworth Roman Villa and took part in research for the Garden History Project. In 2014 another team restored a set of magnificent mid 19th century altar frontals for a Cotswold church(see photo). They have now made a kneeler to the original NADFAS design (see photo) and are preparing to hand this to the church.

We are always looking for new projects: conservation of museum collections, libraries or similar bodies for example. We welcome suggestions for possible projects and endeavour to meet them and are eager to receive offers of help.
